Animator Intern
We are looking for passionate Animator Interns to help bring characters, creatures, and environments to life for an open-world game. You will gain hands-on experience in character animation, motion principles, and real-time animation workflows while collaborating closely with our art and development teams. This internship offers an opportunity to work with industry-standard tools, create engaging animations, and integrate assets into Unreal Engine to enhance immersive gameplay experiences.
Responsibilities
• Assist in creating high-quality character, creature, and object animations for gameplay and cinematics. • Support rigging, animation cleanup, and implementation of animation assets for optimized in-game performance. • Help integrate and test animations within Unreal Engine. • Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to ensure smooth and visually engaging character movements. • Learn industry-standard animation workflows, tools, and best practices for game development.
Requirements
• Interest in 3D animation and game development. • Familiarity with Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar animation software. • Basic understanding of animation principles such as timing, spacing, weight, and character movement. • Knowledge of character rigging, keyframe animation, and animation workflows is a plus. • Willingness to learn game-ready animation pipelines, optimization techniques, and Unreal Engine integration. • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for bringing characters and environments to life. • Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and continuously improve animation skills. • Must bring their own laptop/PC with Blender or other compatible 3D animation software installed.
Internship Duration
• 6 Months
Key Skills: Animation.
Additional Information: Bachelor’s degree in Animation is preferred.
Optional: Unreal Engine Integration is appreciated
This is an on-site position. Remote or hybrid work options are not available.
Office Location: Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Stipend: ₹ 4 - 5 K Per Annum
